Turducken Gravy |
INGREDIENTS |
Drippings from the TURDUCKEN after baking for 4 hours
2 medium onions (chopped)
1/2 medium bell pepper
1 to 1-1/2 quarts water
4oz cream of mushroom soup
1-1/2 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in 4 - 8 oz of water |
METHOD |
In a heavy pot, bring drippings to a boil. Let all liquid boil out, until drippings stick to bottom of the pot.
Carefully pour out excess grease.
Add the onions and bell peppers to the pot, and sauté' for about 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft.
Add water and cream of mushroom soup. let cook for about 30 minutes.
Slowly add cornstarch liquid, and allow gravy to come back to boil. Serve with the TURDUCKEN... |
NOTE |
Also makes a great base for leftovers! |
