Cheddar Mashed Potatoes |
INGREDIENTS |
3.5 lbs. Idaho or Red Bliss potatoes (your choice)
1.5 cups white cheddar cheese
3 tbl. unsalted butter, room temp
1 cup whole milk, heated
3 tbl. dijon mustard
salt & pepper to taste |
METHOD |
- Boil potatoes in salted waterfor 15-25 minutes or until tender when pierced with a knife.
- Drain, put in large mixing bowl
- Whip potatoes with mixer at slow to medium speed, adding the cheese, butter, milk, and mustard.
- Season with salt & pepper to taste. |
NOTE |
Red Bliss potatoes will whip up much faster and thinner than regular Idaho potatoes. Be aware of that if using red bliss. |
