Lasagna |
INGREDIENTS |
1 pound uncooked lasagna pasta
32 oz. ricotta cheese
2 eggs
2/3 cup parmesan cheese
2 - 8 oz. packages shredded mozarella cheese |
METHOD |
(make a batch of our Red Wine Meat Sauce before starting lasagna)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cook lasagna pasta in pot of boiling water, then drain
- Combine ricotta cheese, eggs, and parmesan cheese in bowl and mix together
- Spread some sauce on the bottom of a 13x9" glass dish
- Next spread items in the following order:
pasta -> ricotta -> sauce -> mozarella
- When dish is near full, make the last set of ingredients be:
pasta -> sauce -> mozarella (skip ricotta)
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes |
NOTE |
For cheesier lasagna, use 2 - 12 oz packages of mozarella instead of the 8 oz packages (did this last time by mistake - nice surprise! :-) |
