Peanut Butter Cookies |
INGREDIENTS |
3/4 C chopped salted peanuts
3/4 C brown sugar
3/4 C sugar
1 1/2 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 C peanut butter chips
1/2 C butter or margarine, softened
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 C creamy peanut butter |
METHOD |
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl, mix together all dry ingredients.
In another large bowl, cream the butter, egg and vanilla. Blend in the peanut butter. Add the dry ingredients and stir until the mixture is well blended.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 13-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Transfer to wire racks to cool. |
NOTE |
I find these cookies will cook faster if you flatten the cookies a bit on the cookie sheet before baking. |
